Asset Sales
With our asset sales, we arrange the sale of assets on behalf of businesses, on a commission only basis. No sale, no fee. Herts Valuation’s asset sales and disposal services, are provided to companies and Insolvency professionals throughout the UK.
From the initial contact, we will obtain a brief outline of what is required. We will attend the premises (free of charge) to inspect the assets and will offer our impartial advice on the best method of realising the assets.
Once you have decided to proceed, we will write to you confirming the agreed terms and timescale. From that point onwards, we will deal with the complete clearance and asset sales process, from start to finish. Firstly, we will provide you with a full, detailed written valuation report and inventory of the assets to be sold.
We may advertise and market the assets for sale on your behalf. We will also contact any potential buyers from our extensive database built up over many years, as well as explore any possible known interested parties. We will negotiate and obtain the best price for the assets and arrange the sale on your behalf.
The funds from the asset sales are received into our separate Clients’ account and will be passed over to you immediately upon clearance. Once the assets are sold, we will supervise the removal of assets and clearance of the premises to your satisfaction. We will ensure there is no damage to the premises and that the whole process from runs as smoothly as possible.
In the event there are any items that prove impossible to sell (old, obsolete or faulty items) we will arrange for these to be recycled or reused (see our Recycling and Reuse programme page). Herts Valuations also has full PI insurance to give you full peace of mind. Details of cover are available on request.
